Bienstar is a residence of considerable architectural pedigree — a home designed by Marion Sims Wyeth, the Palm Beach architect whose neoclassical and Mediterranean-inflected buildings shaped the island's built character across the middle decades of the twentieth century. Amanda Lindroth, who has become one of the island's most sought-after names for coastal interior design, brought to the project her characteristic instinct for spaces that are, as she has described her aesthetic, possessed of a "happy lightheartedness, a deliberately natural and effortless look." The conversion of the home's original open loggia into the main hall and dining room — dramatically scaled with floor-to-ceiling curtains — set the tone for an interior of considered ease and quiet grandeur.

The Raj Company contributed hand-carved console tables and chairs developed in close collaboration with Lindroth's team, each piece made to complement the residence's architectural bones and Lindroth's signature layering of rattan, colour, and classically derived form. The console tables in particular were resolved with the kind of carved detailing that gives a piece real presence in a large, light-filled room — ornament used not for its own sake but as a way of anchoring furniture within a space of genuine architectural ambition.
