Bienstar is a residence of considerable architectural pedigree — a home designed by Marion Sims Wyeth, the Palm Beach architect whose neoclassical and Mediterranean-inflected buildings shaped the island's built character across the middle decades of the twentieth century. Amanda Lindroth, who has become one of the island's most sought-after names for coastal interior design, brought to the project her characteristic instinct for spaces that are, as she has described her aesthetic, possessed of a "happy lightheartedness, a deliberately natural and effortless look." The conversion of the home's original open loggia into the main hall and dining room — dramatically scaled with floor-to-ceiling curtains — set the tone for an interior of considered ease and quiet grandeur.
