Within the walls of Lyford Cay — the legendary gated community on New Providence Island that has drawn a discreet international set since the 1950s — L'Orangerie stands as one of the enclave's most architecturally distinguished private residences. The Raj Company contributed a suite of handmade pieces to the project in close collaboration with Lindroth's team: coffee tables, carved console tables, and a collection of four-poster beds with canopies whose proportions and detailing were developed specifically for the rooms they inhabit. The canopied beds in particular carry the sense of occasion that a house of L'Orangerie's standing demands — generous in scale, resolved in their carving, and possessed of the easy grandeur that is the hallmark of Lindroth's island interiors at their most considered.
