On the mid-Atlantic shore of Eleuthera — a narrow, barely-there island of pink-sand beaches and  limestone bluffs — The Potlatch Club reopened in 2024 after a seven-year restoration of what was once a favourite mid-century escape for East Coast socialites. Nassau-based interior designer Amanda Lindroth led the interior redesign, preserving the original clubhouse's black-and-white checkered floors and whitewashed arches while layering in her signature tropical palette of coral pink, sky blue, bamboo, and rattan. The result is an eleven-room retreat that feels, in the very best sense, as though it has always been exactly as it is.

The Raj Company contributed campaign desks and furniture developed in close collaboration with Lindroth's team, alongside a bespoke greeter's desk for the arrival sequence — pieces whose lean, travelling-trunk references and warm timber tones sit naturally within the hotel's mid-century island sensibility. The campaign furniture in particular speaks a language well suited to the project: portable, purposeful, refined without ceremony, and carrying just enough of history's weight to feel earned rather than styled. Featured in both Vogue and Forbes following its opening, The Potlatch Club stands as one of the more considered small hotel restorations of recent years — and a project in which every detail, down to the desk at the door, was treated as an act of design.
