On Santa Monica Avenue in Beverley Hills, where the Pacific light falls easy and the mood leans toward the effortlessly colourful, Roller Rabbit's Los Angeles boutique announced itself as something rather more considered than a typical retail fit-out. The brand enlisted Kemble Interiors to translate that sensibility into three dimensions. The result is a space that feels less like a shop and more like the sunlit interior of a very stylish friend's home: whimsical without being wilful, and colourful without chaos, which has long been the particular gift of Celerie Kemble and the firm she shares with Mimi McMakin.

The Raj Company contributed signature pieces that give the interior much of its handmade warmth: a rattan-clad cash wrap and a set of étagères, both finished with detailed painted accents developed in close collaboration with the Kemble team. The rattan cladding — applied by hand and resolved with the care more usually reserved for residential commissions — brings texture and craft to what might otherwise be purely functional retail furniture, while the painted details echo Roller Rabbit's own tradition of ornament applied with a light, assured hand. Together, the pieces feel entirely native to the brand's world.
