Along Florida's northeastern Atlantic shore, Emily Painter of Emily Painter Interiors brought her characteristic coastal intelligence to bear on a private residence whose setting shaped every decision. Named one of Luxe magazine's "Next in Design 99" for 2023, Painter has spent the better part of a decade refining a practice that, as Casa Branca observed, laces interiors with "surprising details, layered objects, and unexpected colour around every corner" — coastal chic held to a high and particular standard, never predictable, always at ease.

The Raj Company worked in close collaboration with Painter's team to produce thoughtful designs including dining table, a set of side tables, and a series of wall brackets — each piece made by hand and resolved in a manner suited to the residence's light-filled, coastal aesthetic. The wall brackets in particular carry a quiet architectural ambition, their form considered as carefully as any piece of freestanding furniture. Together the pieces contribute to an interior where handcraft is present but never laboured, and where the furniture feels chosen rather than specified.
